Any day now!
Alice, our tiny, black cocker spaniel is in her last days of pregnancy - Monty (the dad), is a chocolate cocker, and couldn't care less that poor Alice is about to have several tiny bundles to look after for the next few weeks. The Last Few Days
Having just had a very busy few days at the lodge, we now have one or two days free to 'catch-up', before our last Woodcock Day in Silver Hill.  Time is marching forward and the snowdrops have finally decided to risk nodding their heads in the unpredictable weather. A Wild New Year!
Had a walk around the grounds this morning - checking for any storm damage! The winds have blasted us for nearly a month now, but we have been very fortunate with only a few slates off the barn roof.
